PRINTS

Suzanna Reynolds began creating prints from her large-scale drawings as a way to make her work more accessible - to offer something intimate and tangible that could live within the scale of a domestic space. But what began as a practical solution quickly became an artistic revalation. In isolating faces or fragments of form from the immense, complex compositions, she discovered new emotional resonances: each face. each glance, each gesture became its own narrative, a quiet dialogue between viewer and image. These cropped portraits feel like conversations- moments of connection with mysterious figures who inhabit her world.

Seen up close, these individuals become more real, more present. Their eyes hold questions. Their expressions hint at stories untold. There is often a stillness or unease in their gaze - something elusive, something secretly shared. By focusing on the mouth, the eyes,, or the breath between, Suzanna allows the viewer to linger with each figure in a way that's impossible when taking the full sweep of the original work. ' You feel them breathing on you' she says. ' The eyes are everything - they hold the tension, the question, the life'.

Each print is made by using high quality Giclee printing process on 300 gm Hahnemuhle fine art paper- a textured surface that picks up every tonal nuance. The blacks are deeper, the subtle colours more intense, heightening the emotional force of the original drawing. These are not reproductions but reimaginings: intimate portraits drawn from larger myths, each one holding its own quiet power.
Each print is produced ensuring exceptional depth , texture and longevity. All prints are limited editions of 25 per image. Each is hand signed., titled and numbered by the artist.
